Here are a few examples of how different personas might set up their rebalancing strategy, incorporating the latest steps for purchasing and managing coins.
Persona 1: The Experienced Crypto Holder
If you already own cryptocurrency and want to use that as your starting point, setting up your rebalancing strategy is straightforward:
Select Your Coins: Begin by selecting the coins (arrow 1)you already own that you want to include in a rebalancing basket.
Assign Percentages: Review the current percentage of each coin within the basket (arrow 2) and enter these percentages (arrow 3) in the rebalancing tool.
Save and Start Rebalancing: Click save, and from that point on, the tool will manage your portfolio based on the percentages you’ve set.
This approach works well for users who already have a diversified portfolio and want to maintain or slightly adjust their existing allocations.
Persona 2: The New Investor Starting from Scratch
If you’re starting with an empty portfolio, you’ll first need to decide which coins you want to include in your rebalancing baskets. Here’s how to proceed:

Top 20 Coins Basket:

Strategy: This approach captures the broad market trend by focusing on the largest and most established coins.

Purchase the Coins:
Via the Portfolio in the Menu: Alternatively, purchase the coins through the Portfolio section in RebalanceNow.io. This allows you to buy directly from your linked exchange within the platform.
On the Exchange Itself: Buy the coins directly on your linked exchange.
Select Your Coins for Rebalancing:
Once your coins are purchased, choose the ones you want to include in each basket.
Assign Percentages: Determine how much of each coin you want in the basket, ensuring the total equals 100%.
Save and Start Rebalancing: Save your settings, and the tool will begin rebalancing based on your chosen strategy.
